Bluesmatic plays blues, rhythm and blues with a fair bit of rock feel mixed in as well. The five members of the band bring decades each of musical experience into the group. They play music that is diverse and transcends the usual clichés when one thinks of the blues. One criterion marks the choice of musical selections for the band: is it fun, challenging, diverse, interesting and a great song? They are a high energy, entertaining, driving blues band that features soulful vocals meant to get your feet tapping and moving.
